2020학년 제2학기 학사운영계획을 다음과 같이 안내합니다.
1. 2학기 학사운영의 기본방향은 정부의 방역수칙에 연동됩니다.
이는 지난 1학기와 같은 원칙입니다.
가. 사회적 거리두기 1단계 및 2단계에서는 실시간 온오프라인 병행수업(NeMo Class)을
기본으로 하는 제한적 대면수업을 기본원칙으로 합니다.
1) 실시간 온오프라인 병행수업은 일부 대면수업에 참석하는 수강생들을 대상으로 강의실
수업을 진행하되, 그 상황을 실시간으로 중계하여 수강생들이 온라인으로도 수업에
참여하도록 하는 방식입니다.
2) 실시간 중계가 불가능한 사정이 있는 경우 강의 상황을 녹화 또는 녹음한 콘텐츠를
강의시간 후에 업로드하는 것도 가능합니다.
3) 또한 대면수업 없이 실시간 온라인 강의만 시행하는 것도 가능합니다.
나. 사회적 거리두기 3단계에서는 전면 온라인 수업을 원칙으로 합니다.
다. 정부의 사회적 거리두기 단계와 상관없이 추석 연휴 직후 1주간(10월 5일~10월 9일)은
온라인수업을 원칙으로 하고, 대면수업은 제한됩니다.
- 이는 추석연휴 기간 동안 전국적인 이동으로 인해 코로나19 감염이 확산될 위험이
있기 때문입니다.
라. 실험실습 및 실기 수업의 경우에도 수업운영의 기본원칙을 준수하실 것을 권장하지만,
다음의 요건을 갖추는 경우 대면수업만 시행할 수 있습니다.
1) 수업의 성격상 온라인 수업이 불가능하거나 부적절할 것.
2) 수강생들에게 수강신청 이전에 고지하거나, 수강생들과 협의하여 수강생 모두의
동의를 얻을 것.
2. 온라인 수업의 기본방식은 실시간 강의를 원칙으로 합니다.
가. 온오프라인 병행 방식이나 전면 온라인 강의 방식에서 온라인강의는 실시간 강의를
원칙으로 합니다.
나. 녹화강의는 보강 및 시험기간 중의 강의 등 불가피한 경우에만 허용됩니다.
- 녹화강의는 수업시간을 준수하여 강의 컨텐츠를 업로드하여야 하며, 정해진 수업시간에
수강생들과 온라인 학습활동을 하여야 합니다.
3. 성적평가의 방식 또한 정부의 방역수칙에 맞추어 시행하는 것을 원칙으로 합니다.
가. 사회적 거리두기 1단계 및 2단계에서는 대면시험이 원칙이며, 비대면시험이나 과제물
대체 또한 가능합니다.
나. 사회적 거리두기 3단계에서는 비대면시험 또는 과제물 대체를 원칙으로 하며,
대면시험은 허용되지 않습니다.
다. 대면시험의 시행을 위해 시험기간은 2주간으로 변경됩니다.
1) 중간시험은 10월 20일부터 11월 2일까지, 기말시험은 12월 8일부터 21일까지 각각
시행됩니다.
2) 시험기간 중 1주차는 3, 4학년 대상 개설과목의 시험기간이며, 2주차는 1,2학년 대상
개설과목의 시험기간입니다.
3) 기말시험을 15주차에 시행하는 교과목의 경우 15주 이내에 법정수업일수를 충족해야
합니다.
4) 시험기간 중 시험시간 외의 수업은 온라인으로 강의하는 것을 원칙으로 합니다.
4. 수업의 방식 및 성적평가의 방식은 수강신청 이전에 공지될 예정입니다.
8월 3일 수강희망과목 등록 시작 전 또는 8월 17일 수강신청 시작 전에 각 교과목의 강의
계획안을 통해 1) 수업유형(비대면 / 온오프라인 병행 / 대면), 2) 성적평가방식(대면 /
비대면 / 과제물), 3) 시험일정에 대해 안내하여 학생들의 수강신청 및 2학기 수업계획
수립에 도움이 되도록 할 것입니다.
Academic Plan for the 2020 Fall Semester
The following is the academic plan for the 2020 fall semester.
1. The academic plan for the fall semester is in alignment with the quarantine rules
set by the government. The same rules from the spring semester apply to the fall
semester.
A. Restricted face-to-face lectures, where real-time online lectures are broadcasted simultaneously with offline lectures (i.e., NeMo Class), should be provided in the first and second stages of social distancing as designated by the government.
1) A real-time online and offline parallel class is a class in which the lecture is provided
to students attending the face-to-face class while also being broadcasted online
simultaneously for students participating in the course online.
2) If real-time broadcasting of the lecture is not possible, it is also possible to record the
offline lecture and upload the recording afterwards.
3) It is also possible to only conduct real-time online lectures without holding
face-to-face lectures.
B. In the third stage of social distancing, all lectures should be provided online.
C. Regardless of the social distancing stage announced by the government,
lectures should be provided online for the week immediately after the Chuseok
holiday (from Oct. 5 to Oct. 9).
- During this week, face-to-face classes are prohibited because there is a high risk
of COVID-19 spreading across the country during the Chuseok holiday.
D. For laboratory and practicum courses, adherence to the basic principles of
class management is highly recommended. Face-to-face lectures can be
conducted only when the following requirements are met.
1) When online classes are not possible or inappropriate due to the nature of the class
2) When students are notified of the offline class prior to course registration and
consent from all students enrolled in the class is obtained
2. Online classes should be real-time (synchronous) lectures.
A. Real-time (synchronous) lectures should be provided for both online and offline parallel classes and online-only classes.
B. Recorded lectures are only allowed when it is inevitable, such as for a make-up
class or for class provided during the exam period.
- Recorded lectures must be uploaded in accordance with the class time, and online
learning activities must be conducted with students during the designated class time.
3. The method of evaluation should also be implemented in accordance with the
quarantine rules of the government.
A. For the first and second stages of social distancing, a face-to-face exam should be administered. However, an online or take-home exam or substitute
assignment is also possible.
B. In the third stage of social distancing, an online or take-home exam or substitute assignment should be administered. Face-to-face exams are not allowed.
C. The exam period will be extended to two weeks in order to conduct face-to-face
exams.
1) Midterm exams will be held from Oct. 20 to Nov. 2, and final exams will be held
from Dec. 8 to 21.
2) The first week of the exam period is for 3rd- and 4th-year courses, and the second
week is for 1st- and 2nd-year courses.
3) For courses where the final exams are held in the 15th week, the required number
of classes must be held within those 15 weeks.
4) Online classes should be held during the exam weeks.
4. The type of lecture and evaluation should be announced prior to course
registration.
Prior to pre-registration of preferred courses on August 3rd, or course registration on
August 17th, the following information should be provided in the syllabus in order to
assist students when registering for courses and making plans for the fall semester:
1) the type of lecture (online, online and offline parallel, or face-to-face); 2) evaluation
method (in-class exam/ online exam/ take-home assignment); 3) exam schedule.
