International Studies Series of GRI
The Global Research Institute(GRI) at Korea University’s Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) is a leading research institute in global area studies. Through an interdisciplinary approach encompassing politics, economics, society, and culture, the center conducts in-depth analyses of complex issues across various regions of the world.
The International Studies Series of GRI is designed as an academic publication reflecting the institute’s vision and the educational and research identity of GSIS. It aims to address key issues in contemporary international studies. This series serves as a platform for sharing research outcomes within and beyond the academic community, drawing from faculty and graduate students' research, lectures, and other scholarly contributions. Each volume goes beyond single-region or single-issue studies, offering empirical analyses and theoretical insights into multifaceted global issues. Additionally, by translating high-quality academic works originally published in English into Korean, the series seeks to expand knowledge dissemination and enhance public engagement.
Moving forward, the International Studies Series of GRI will continue to develop as a knowledge platform that upholds GSIS’s core values of interdisciplinary research, field-based analysis, and global knowledge sharing, providing meaningful insights for both scholars and general readers worldwide.
