평화롭고 포용적인 내일의 도시 개발 (Shaping Peaceful & Inclusive Cities of Tomorrow)
UNITAR 제주국제연수센터는 UN 산하 UNITAR(유엔훈련연구기구)의 지역연수센터로 평화의 섬 제주에 2010년 10월 개소하여 UN이 추구하는 지속가능한 발전을 이룰 수 있도록 아태지역을 대상으로 다양한 프로그램을 운영하고 있습니다.
다가오는 8월 제주국제연수센터는 제 19차 청년워크숍을 개최하여, 전국 청년들이 포용적인 도시의 현황 및 과제, 혁신적인 해결책 등 SDG11(지속가능한 도시와 공동체)에 대한 이해를 증진하고, 탐구할 수 있는 장을 마련할 예정이며, 많은 참여 부탁드립니다.
I. 행사 개요

- 행사 유형: 워크숍 (모든 프로그램 영어 진행)
- 참가 자격 : 국내 대학(원) 재학중인 학생 50명 (국내외 학생)
lI. 행사 목적
- 국내·외 대학(원)생을 대상으로 포용적인 도시 개발에 대한 교육 및 활동 기회를 제공하여, 사회적 책임 의식을 배양하고 지속가능한발전의 주역으로 성장할 수 있는 계기 마련하고자 함
- SDG11과 관련 현황 및 과제를 이해하고, 정부, NGO, UN 등 다양한 주체의 혁신적인 해결책에 대한 탐구를 장려하고자 함

- 8/17(수) : 개회식, 포용적인 도시 개발 특강, 그룹 활동
- 8/18(목) : 포용적인 도시 개발 특강, 그룹 활동
- 8/19(금) : 그룹 활동, 국제개발협력 커리어 멘토링
8/24(수) : 그룹 활동 발표, 수료식

The 19th Youth Workshop
Shaping Peaceful & Inclusive Cities of Tomorrow
I. Overview
- Organizer: UNITAR CIFAL Jeju/Jeju International Training Center
Date: 2022 August 17th (Wed) – August 24th (Wednesday)
- Venue: Online (All programs and activities will be delivered using the Zoom platform.)
Target Audience : 50 university and graduate students residing in the Republic of Korea (Both Korean and International Students)
II. Objectives
- Understand the concept of urbanization and cities and the current challenges and opportunities in creating inclusive cities for all
- Explore creative ideas implemented and lessons learned by different stakeholders to create inclusive cities – with a focus on persons with disability (PWD), children, and elder inclusion
- Identify the diverse roles of the youth in making the cities of tomorrow more inclusive

- (Pre-Workshop) Individual Activity: Case Study on the Current Inequalities of Cities by Aug 12th
- Courses and Discussions on Peaceful and Inclusive Cities
- Group Activity: Design Inclusive Solutions for Cities and Presentation
- Networking Session with Youth Leaders Shaping Inclusive Cities
