Korea University Graduate School of International Studies (KU GSIS) opens the admission twice a year.
Spring admission starts around April, and Fall admission starts around October.

• All required documents must be uploaded on UWAY admission website, and file edits and re-uploads are possible until the deadline of documents submission. (Korea Standard Time).
• Please write your application number and name at the top-right of each document and upload each of them.
• If all the required PDF scanned documents are NOT uploaded within the deadline, the applicant will be excluded from the screening and will be considered to have given up on application for admission.
• E-mail submission is not acceptable (Only the recommendation letter can be submitted to gsisadmin@korea.ac.kr)
• Additional document submission via post may be requested if needed.

| Interview |
1. Master’s Degree Program
• KU GSIS basically has NO interview procedures for international applicants of Master’s Degree program.
International applicants may be asked to undertake interview(s) when KU GSIS Admission Committee members determine that the applicant(s) need to have the interviews in English for a justifiable reason.
• In case an interview is needed, KU GSIS will contact the interviewee(s) individually and notify them of the telephone or video interview schedule.
2. Doctoral Degree Program
• KU GSIS conducts interviews only for applicants who pass the document screening, and KU GSIS will contact them individually in advance.
• If an applicant stays abroad, KU GSIS will conduct telephone or video interview.

Announcement of Admissions Decision |

• Admission results will be available on KU GSIS website, and further information will be announced through email you used for your online application.
• KU GSIS Administration Office does NOT disclose information related to admission decisions such as eligibility of each applicant, content of evaluation, and the reason of rejection or disqualification.

• The office of KU GSIS Administration Team office is closed on weekends and public holidays.
• Please use certified mail, parcel service or international express mail with a tracking number in order to check the delivery status to avoid any delays or delivery failures.
(Please keep in mind that late delivery of any required documents WILL NOT be accepted for any reason.)
• Original document of Bank Statement (USD 20,000) MUST be submitted in order to apply for the student visa(D-2) in Korea.
• Please refer to 'Admissions Guideline for International Applicants' for a detailed explanation.

• Tuition fees must be paid in full at once via bank transfer, Korean internet banking, international remittance, international wire transfer, Alipay, etc., to the virtual account provided to each applicant by Korea University. • The Certificate of Admission (CoA) will be issued from late July after tuition payment and original documents submission. |
