Content	SPECIAL LECTURE Is the Korean Economy Immune to the Banking Crisis? Dr. Yung Chul Park (Emeritus Professor, Korea University) This lecture presents a brief review of the prospect of the Korean economy with a focus on recent developments in the financial sector to assess its probability of succumbing to a banking crisis, which could blow up into a full-fledged financial crisis. To deflect this fear, it will discuss some causes and policy responses to the ongoing banking crisis in the United States and Europe.
