2021학년 제2학기 학사운영계획을 다음과 같이 안내합니다.
1. 2학기 학사운영의 기본방향은 정부의 방역수칙에 연동됩니다.
가. 사회적 거리두기 1단계, 2단계 및 3단계에서는 비대면수업을 기본으로 하는 제한적 대면수업을 기본원칙으로 합니다.
1) 수강생의 안전을 위해 학생 간 거리를 확보할 수 있도록 대면수업은 수강 인원을 기준으로 제한적으로 허용됩니다. 대면수업 허용 기준 인원은 학부 50명 미만, 대학원 20명 미만입니다. 허용 인원 기준을 충족하는 수업의 경우 대면 수업 여부는 원활한 강의실 배정 등을 위하여 학기 시작 전에 담당교원이 결정하며, 학생의 동의 절차는 거치지 않습니다.
2) 학부 50명 이상, 대학원 20명 이상 강의는 비대면수업으로 진행하며, 일부 강의에 한해 병행수업(네모강의)로 진행될 수 있습니다.
3) 대면수업 진행에 따른 학생의 불편과 교내 밀집도를 최소화하기 위한 조치로 학부의 경우 학년별 대면수업 등교 요일을 지정하여 운영합니다.
나. 사회적 거리두기 4단계에서는 전면 비대면 수업을 원칙으로 합니다.
2. 비대면 수업의 기본방식은 실시간 강의를 원칙으로 합니다.
가. 온오프라인 병행 방식이나 전면 온라인 강의 방식에서 온라인강의는 실시간 강의를 원칙으로 합니다.
나. 녹화강의는 보강 및 시험기간 중의 강의 등 불가피한 경우에만 허용됩니다.
- 녹화강의는 학생들의 학습권 보장과 온라인강의의 질적 수준 확보를 위해
1) 강의시간 이전에 강의자료를 업로드하여야 하며,
2) 이번 학기에 새로 녹화한 강의 콘텐츠를 제공하는 것을 원칙으로 합니다. 또한, 정해진 수업시간에 수강생들과 온라인 학습활동을 하여야 합니다.
3. 성적평가의 방식 또한 정부의 방역수칙에 맞추어 시행하는 것을 원칙으로 합니다.
가. 사회적 거리두기 1단계, 2단계 및 3단계에서는 원칙적으로 대면시험을 권장하며, 시험의 공정성이 담보되는 비대면시험의 실시나 과제물 대체 또한 가능합니다.
나. 사회적 거리두기 4단계에서는 비대면시험 또는 과제물 대체를 원칙으로 하며, 대면시험은 허용되지 않습니다.
다. 대면시험의 시행을 위해 시험기간은 2주간으로 변경됩니다.
1) 중간시험은 10월 20일부터 11월 2일까지, 기말시험은 12월 8일부터 21일 까지 각각 시행됩니다.
2) 기말시험을 15주차에 시행하는 교과목의 경우 15주 이내에 법정수업일수를 충족해야 합니다.
3) 시험기간 중 시험시간 외의 수업은 온라인으로 강의하는 것을 원칙으로 합니다.
4. 대면수업 및 병행수업(네모강의) 위주로 강의실이 배정됩니다.
1) 비대면수업은 강의실이 배정되지 않을 수도 있습니다.
2) 대면시험 시행 시엔 행정실을 통해 별도의 시험 강의실이 배정될 예정입니다.
5. 수업의 방식(수업유형) 및 성적평가의 방식과 시험일정은 수강신청 이전에 공지될 예정입니다.
1) 수업유형은 대면, 비대면, 혼합(대면&비대면)으로 구분되며, 강의계획안에서 확인할 수 있습니다.
- 수업유형 중 혼합(대면&비대면)은 병행수업(네모강의) 형태를 의미합니다.
2) 수업유형 진행원칙은 아래와 같습니다.
- 대면수업은 확진자 발생 시 임시 강의실로 배정되거나 비대면수업으로 전환될 예정입니다.
- 비대면수업은 비정기적인 대면수업의 진행은 불가하나, 비정기적인 병행수업(네모강의) 형태는 진행될 수 있습니다. 비정기적인 병행수업(네모강의) 형태 진행 시엔 별도의 강의실이 배정될 예정입니다.
- 수업유형은 학기 중 변경되지 않으나, 4단계 상향 시엔 전면 비대면수업을 시행합니다.
6. 세종 캠퍼스의 경우는 별도의 기준을 적용합니다.

Academic Plan for Fall 2021
1. The academic plan for the Fall 2021 semester is in alignment with the quarantine rules set by the government.
A. Restricted face-to-face lectures, where online lectures are conducted, should be provided in the stage 1, 2, and 3 of social distancing as designated by the government.
a) For the safety of students, face-to-face lectures are restrictively allowed based on the number of students so that the distance between students can be secured. The number of students for face-to-face lectures is less than 50 for undergraduate courses and less than 20 for graduate courses. For these courses, the professor of the course will decide whether to have a face-to-face lecture or not without the procedure of student’s consent for classroom allocation before the semester begins.
b) Undergraduate courses with 50 students or more and graduate courses with 20 or more will be held online, and only some lectures can be conducted simultaneously with offline classes (i.e., NeMo Class).
c) To minimize the students’ inconvenience and crowdedness on campus density due to face-to-face lectures, offline class day will be designated according to the students’ grade. It only applies to undergraduate students.
B. In the fourth stage of social distancing, all lectures should be held online.
2. Online classes should be live streamed in real time.
A. Real-time (synchronous) lectures should be provided for both online & offline parallel classes and online-only classes.
B. Recorded lectures are only allowed when it is inevitable, such as for a make-up class or for class provided during the exam period.
- To guarantee the students’ right to learn and maintain the quality of the classes, the recorded lectures should be:
a) Uploaded before the actual period of the lecture
b) Newly recorded for the upcoming semester.
3. The method of evaluation should also be implemented in accordance with the quarantine rules of the government.
A. For the stage 1, 2 and 3 of social distancing, a face-to-face exam should be administered. However, an online or take-home exam or substitute assignment is also possible.
B. In the fourth stage of social distancing, an online or take-home exam or substitute assignment should be administered. Face-to-face exams are not allowed.
C. The exam period will be extended to two weeks in order to conduct face-to-face exams.
a) Midterm exams will be held from October 20 to November 2, and final exams will be from December 8 to 21.
b) For courses of which the final exams are held in the 15th week, the required number of classes must be held within 15 weeks.
c) Online classes should be held during the exam weeks.
4. Classrooms could be assigned only for the courses that are held offline or online & offline parallel classes (NeMo classes).
a) Classrooms may not be assigned for online classes.
b) For face-to-face exams, a classroom for exam will be assigned by the administration office.
5. The detailed information including the type of lecture, evaluation and exam schedules will be informed on syllabus before the course registration.
a) Students can confirm the type of lecture on the syllabus of each course. Types of lecture are as follows: offline class, online class, and combined (offline and online) class.
- Combined (offline and online) class refers to online & offline parallel class (NeMo class)
b) Principles for class conduction are as follows.
- Offline classes will be shifted to online class or be given a temporary classroom when there is a confirmed case of Covid-19.
- For courses held online, having occasional offline classes are not allowed, but conducting occasional online & offline parallel classes (NeMo class) are possible. Extra classroom will be assigned for occasional NeMo classes.
- Type of lecture will not be changed during the semester. However, In the fourth stage of social distancing, all classes will be conducted online.
6. Different policies will be applied to Sejong Campus.
