[GPAS] KIEP-KU GPAS-Europe Research Project: supporting participants

 

Since 2008, Korea University Graduate School of International Studies (KU GSIS) has been operating the 'Graduate Program for Area Studies (GPAS) program' with Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP). The school selects excellent students who are interested in Europe and trains them as experts of the region.

 

We would like to recruit Korean and foreign Masters/PhD students who would like to apply for a research project jointly held by KU GSIS and Jean Monnet EU Centre of Excellence. The topic is ‘Reconciliation diplomacy of major European countries and their implications on East Asia’. Three experts of the field will be invited and workshops will be held. Graduate students will participate in this. The project will be proceeded in a form of joint research. The detailed schedule will be announced soon.

 

Recruitment: 3 KU GSIS students (including Masters / PhD students, Korean and foreign students)


Research topic: Reconciliation diplomacy of major European countries and their implications on East Asia


Fund: 1,000,000 KRW per person (including: writing submission, research support fund, etc.)


Application condition: submitting a research paper about the topic above (After the research is finished)


Documents to be submitted: resume, original transcript


* All documents should be written in English. For the original transcript, if an applicant is freshman, please submit the transcript of undergraduate.
