KU GSIS selects additional nominees for 2022-2 Exchange Program (Kobe University)
* Foreign(non-Korean) MA/PhD students can apply for CAMPUS Asia Plus Program.


1. Campus Asia Plus Program
- Kobe University: 2022-2 Exchange
  * Applicants can choose either 6 months or 1-year exchange program
  * Applicants cannot apply for 2022-2 Dual-degree program for now
- Kobe University: Field Research (research guidance provided)
  * Applicants should arrive in Japan by March 31st 2023.
  * To apply for a student visa in Japan, researching period in Japan should be more than 3 months
  * Special research students can attend classes but cannot earn credits from Kobe University.

2. Documents to submit
– CV (curriculum vitae)
– Application Form (Form attached, including Statement of Purpose: Word 2pages)
– Language Certificate(IELTS/TOEFL/TOEIC): Possible for phone Interview by the host university
– KU GSIS transcript

3. (Extended) Submission Period: ~ July 11(Mon.) 5:00 pm

4. Submission Venue: GSIS Office(Room223) or submit by e-mail (gsiscampusasia@korea.ac.kr

5. Interview: TBD (schedule will be sent individually by email)
* Interview will be conducted virtually via zoom

* Applicants nominated by KUGSIS are normally accepted by the host institutions, but the host institution retains the right to review these students and to make the final decision concerning their admission. Lack of availability, capacity or any other circumstances at the host institutions may result in denial of nominated applicants.

* Please note that the student should be enrolled and study at KU in the first and last semester, and determine the time to graduate in advance.

* A monthly scholarship of 80,000 Japanese Yen would be given from Kobe University. Applicants have to pay for their own airfare and accommodation.

* After completing an exchange program and getting back to KU GSIS, students will not be eligible for the academic scholarship in coming semester because grade earned at a host university cannot be evaluated in terms of the condition of KU Scholarship, which means students cannot get KU scholarship based on grades earned during the exchange period.
