YICGG is a prestigious international competition organized by SIRPA for over ten years. This year, the theme of the competition is "Global AI Governance," reflecting the increasingly important role of artificial intelligence in shaping our world. The competition is scheduled to take place from July 22nd to July 26th in Hungary and will be co-hosted by the SIRPA of Fudan University, the Central Bank of Hungary, John von Neumann University, and Budapest Metropolitan University. Travel costs to Budapest will be covered for selected participants.

STEP 1

Basic information

If you are interested in YICGG, please register as soon as possible. This will ensure that you receive the latest information from YICGG2024 Committee.

For registration, please complete the form in the attachment named "YICGG2024-personal info-preliminary round"

Deadline for registration: 

April 24st, 2024 (Official deadline was April 21st but Fudan University mentioned that they can accept registration until 5PM, April 24th Korea time. With apologies, this deadline is quite tight but please note that registration is very simple and will only take about 10 minutes)


STEP 2 

Design for Creative Projects

To participate in the first round of competition, you / your group need to submit your proposal to our official mailbox: yicgg@hotmail.com.

Deadline for submission: 

April 28th, 2024 (This is the official deadline but Fudan University mentioned that the deadline may be extended to May 7. So when you send your registration form, please ask the Secretariat if this potential extension to May 7 is confirmed. If not, please send by 11:59PM, April 28th Korea time). 


STEP 3 

Assessment & Result Release

Based on your papers, the professional jury will decide the finalists who will be able to travel to Hungary for the final, which will be released in May.

Deadline for result release:

May 17th, 2024


STEP 4

Confirmation

All candidates will have 5 days to decide whether to join the second round. YICGG2024 Committee, on behalf of the School of International Relations and Public Affairs of Fudan University, will send an invitation letter to the participants after their confirmation.

STEP 5

Registration for Ignite Talk & BAG

Candidates who want to join "Ignite Talk" should send an email to the official mailbox : yicgg@hotmail.com attached with the speech outline based on the theme of the first round, approximately 150 to 200 words. Judges will select 20 candidates as "Ignite Talk" talkers.
