Korea Future (KF) is seeking a full-time staff member for a project that will focus on documentation and accountability for sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) in North Korea. The successful candidate will work with KF’s team to engage survivors, impacted communities, and international stakeholders; undertake interviews with survivors; and engage in targeted advocacy.
Experience
Essential
- Written and spoken fluency in Korean and English;
- An advanced degree, knowledge, and practical experience of international criminal law and/or international human rights law;
- Knowledge of international legal procedures and instruments; and
- Demonstrable research and writing skills in English.
Desirable
- Experience working on matters related to SGBV;
- Experience conducting legal research and analysis; and
- Experience in or knowledge of the situation in North Korea.

- Ability to work effectively within a small team and to adhere to deadlines; and
- Ability to manage large volumes of research and evidential analysis.

- Speaks and writes clearly and effectively;
