Job description:
* Objective: To support production of various quality documents in English (and Korean), and assist IVI units in editing/proofreading of English documents
* This consultant (English Editor/translator) will carry out the following and other related responsibilities:
1. Draft, edit and proofread documents and other literature in English for all departments and units within IVI.
2. High quality of English in communication products including announcements, and other PR materials to ensure that they meet quality standard, and maintain consistency in editorial style for various IVI units;
3. Translate Korean documents into English (and vice versa if capable)
4. (Help) develop communications materials
5. Carry out other related tasks as required
* This consultant shall be ready to share duties and responsibilities with other staff as required.
Salary / Wages: TBD
Days of the week & hours: Part-time (Preferably 5 days/week during daytime, but a bit flexible)
Visa requirements: Visa support will not be provided
Visa sponsorship?: No
Regular Employment / Freelance (IC)?: Freelance, with a 6 - 12 months renewable contract duration

<Additional requirements>
Education: BA in English, journalism, international relations, language and literature or related field, and/or substantial experience in writing and related fields of work
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience in agency or as a freelancer
Professional Knowledge:
- Strong proficiency in English writing and editing,
- Knowledge of and familiarity with social media channels are highly desirable
- Computer skills: office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
