Learners of Korean Wanted

Hi! My name is Jae Hyun from Indiana University, Bloomington. I’m conducting a small pilot study on language acquisition for second language learners whose mother tongue is English and who learned Korean as a second (third/fourth...) language. The proficiency level should be intermediate to advanced (e.g. 2xx level above).

The task is simple and easy (Online, Qualtrics link).

1) You’ll read a short text in English (2 to 5 lines).

2) You’ll read a statement in Korean (1 line).

3) You’ll be asked to choose whether you think the statement is true or false. There are 32 statements in total and participation usually takes less than 30 minutes.

After completing the task, $5 or ₩5,000 will be provided as compensation ($5: Venmo, Zelle available OR ₩5,000: Korean bank transaction, Korean gift cards through Kakaotalk available). There are no known risks involved in this study.

If you’re interested in this study, please let me know (jhahn17@iu.edu).

I’ll email you a Qualtrics link.
