The Chung-Ang University(CAU) has designed a new joint study program ‘Global Border Studies(GBS).’ From the Fall semester 2021 onwards, students from all over the world are invited to study a new master’s course. GBS is based in the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) of CAU, offering the interdisciplinary courses with global perspectives from history, international relations, cultural studies, ecological studies, and international cooperation.
GSIS-GBS plans to invite prominent scholar Michael North of Greifswald University/Germany to give regular lecture in the Fall semester of this year. Professor North's books have been translated into many different languages. With these internationally recognized academic achievements and writing activities, Professor North has received honorary doctorates in Poland and Estonia (http://www.kyosu.net/news/articleView.html?idxno=65763).
Professor North will teach the course "Global Border Studies in Comprehensive Perspective." I sincerely hope that you would be interested in and able to participate in the class, which will take place from 15 to 18 o’clock every Wednesday in the 2021 Fall semester.
