2026학년도 제2학기 융합전공 전형 안내
「학칙」 제4장 제3절 제35조(융합전공), 「학사운영규정」 제6장 제2절 제2관(융합전공)
재학기간 중 제1전공을 이수하면서 2개 이상의 학과(부) 및 학문분야를 결합하거나 주제들을 중심으로 연결한 전공의 최소 이수학점을 이수한 자에게 제2전공을 인정하여 졸업 시 2개의 학위를 수여하는 제도
1. 전형 심사
해당 주관 대학, 학과(부) 및 융합전공 협의회에서 지원자 중 수학능력 및 교육환경을 고려하여 선발함. 서류심사의 성적은 직전 학기까지 모든 수강과목의 총 평점 평균(F 포함)을 반영함
2. 신청기간 및 방법
가. 접수기간 : 2026 . 4. 15 (수) 10:00 ～ 4. 17 (금) 17:00
나. 신청방법 : 인터넷 신청 (포탈시스템 > 학적/졸업 > 학적사항 > 융합전공 신청) 임시저장 후 최종 제출 클릭
※ 인터넷 온라인 접수는 항상 예기치 않은 문제가 발생할 수 있으므로 가능한 마감 1~2시간 전 접수를 완료하여 주십시오. 마감시간 이후(On-line 및 Off-line) 접수 절대 불가합니다. (전산오류 인정 안함)
※ 학업계획서 작성 시 임시저장 및 포탈 로그인 상태 유지 여부 확인
3. 합격자 발표
가. 기간 : 2026. 5. 11 (월) 17:00 (예정)
나. 장소 : 포탈(KUPID) > 학적/졸업 > 학적사항 > 융합전공 신청
4. 지원자 유의사항
가. ‘04학번부터는 제2전공 의무화에 따라 제1전공의 심화전공, 이중전공, 융합전공, 학생설계전공 중 하나를 반드시 이수하여야 함. 단, 학사편입자의 제2전공 이수는 선택 사항임
나. 제2전공을 합격 후 포기하면 제1전공 심화전공으로 자동 전환됩니다. 이 경우 제1전공에서 이수해야 하는 학점이 상향되니 반드시 제1전공의 심화전공 기준 졸업요건 충족 여부를 확인하십시오.
다. 제2전공 기 합격자 중 재 지원을 위하여 합격되었던 전공을 포기하고 재신청 할 경우 신청의 기회는 1회에 한하며, 만약 불합격할 경우 제1전공의 심화전공을 이수하여야 함
라. 제1전공의 심화전공은 기존의 단일 전공제와 유사함
마. 당해 학기 실시되는 제2전공 전형의 합격자는 지원 자격 조건을 신청 학기 내 반드시 유지하여야 하며 신청학기에 학기 중 휴학을 하면 학사운영규정 제115조(이수포기)에 의거하여 다른 제2전공으로 변경을 신청할 수 있는 횟수는 1회에 한한다. 소정의 절차(정규학기등록, 이수학점인정, 이수과목지정, 수강신청 등)를 거친 후 합격한 다음 학기부터 제2전공을 이수할 수 있는 자격을 갖게 됨
바. 일부 융합전공은 소속 캠퍼스 한정 혹은 특정 학과 한정이므로 교과과정표의 비고 반드시 확인
사. 이수학점 및 지정교과목은 각 융합전공 주관 대학, 학과(부)로 문의 함
아. 융합전공 교과목 중 ‘법학’과 관련 있는 개설 교과목은 법학전문대학원에서 개설 주최함(공직과사회규범, 인문학과정의, 공공거버넌스와리더십, 소프트웨어기술벤처, 정보보호, 의료인문학)
자. 폐지 융합전공 (해당 융합전공은 학생 미선발)
: 암호학, 파생금융공학, 과학기술학, 의과학, 사회복지학, 디지털매체문화, 융합보안, 지식산업, 식품산업관리, 사회인구학'(2025-2), '한류문화산업경영'(2025-2), '바이오헬스케어'(2025-2), '공기업경영-지능형기술관리'(2025-2), '친환경동력시스템'(2025-2), '지능형전장제어시스템'(2025-2), '첨단센서융합디바이스'(2025-2), '디스플레이-시스템반도체소부장'(2025-2), '스마트휴먼인터페이스'(2025-2), '차세대통신융합디바이스'(2025-2), '모빌리티SW/AI'(2025-2)
차. 정보통신대학 뇌인지과학 융합전공은 정보대학 뇌인지과학 융합전공으로 신청

2026-2 Interdisciplinary Major Application Guidelines

Interdisciplinary Major
The Interdisciplinary Major is an undergraduate degree program that combines or integrates two or
more degree courses. Upon fulfilling the graduation requirements for both the first major and the
Interdisciplinary Major, a student enrolled in the Interdisciplinary Major shall be conferred with a
bachelor's degree in each of the respective majors.
I. Application Information
1. Application Process
Applications are reviewed by the interdisciplinary major council and each faculties organizing the Interdisciplinary Major. Applicants’ overall GPA (including F grade) is taken into consideration.
2. Application Period
1) Application Period: April 15, 2026 (Wed) 10:00 ~ April 17, 2026 (Fri) 17:00
2) Online application at KU Portal → Registration & Graduation (학적/졸업)
→ University Registration (학적사항) → Interdisciplinary Major Application (융합전공 신청) (Please ‘save’ your application and then click ‘submit’)
※ Please be advised that applicants should complete online application 1~2 hours before the deadline. Applications cannot be submitted after the deadline, and any delays due to technical issues with an individual’s computer will not be considered
※ Please be advised to frequently save your work while writing the Statement of Purpose and ensure that you remain logged into the portal.
3. Announcement of Successful Applicants
1) Date: May 11, 2026 (Mon) after 17:00 (To Be Confirmed)
2) Please go to KU Portal → Registration & Graduation (학적/졸업) → University Registration (학적사항) → Interdisciplinary Major Application (융합전공 신청)
4. Note
1) The mandatory regulation of completing a second major is applied to students entering from 2004 onward. Student subject to this regulation must complete one of the followings;
① intensive major course of first major ②double major ③ interdisciplinary major
④ student-designed major. (Applicant who is transferred with a bachelor’s degree can choose not to complete a second major.)
2) If students withdraw from their second major after being admitted, they will be automatically converted to the advanced track of their first major. In this case, the number of credits required for the first major will increase, so students should make sure to verify whether they meet the graduation requirements for the advanced track of their first major.
3) Students who withdraw second major program before applying for the interdisciplinary major and fail to enter this program should take an intensive course of the first major.
4) Intensive major course of 1st major assumes a similar form to the existing single major system.
5) Among successful applicants, those only who retain the eligibility conditions during the application semester (ie. Registration, approval of pre-taken courses, designation of independent major courses, course-registration) will be accepted to pursue Interdisciplinary Major from the following semester.
6) Some Interdisciplinary Major is limited to Seoul-Campus or specific 1st major students.
7) Eliminated interdisciplinary major: Crytology, Study of Derivative Financial Engineering, Social Welfare, Science and Technology Studies, Medical Science, Digital Media Culture, IT Convergence Security, Knowledge Industry Convergence, and Food Industry Management, Social Demography(2025-2), Hallyu Culture Industry Management(2025-2), Convergence Bio Healthcare(2025-2), Public Enterprise and AI Management(2025-2), Eco-friendly Power System(2025-2), Intelligent Vehicle Control System(2025-2), Advanced Sensor Convergence Device(2025-2), Display-System Semiconductor Materials, Parts and Equipment(2025-2), Smart Human Interface Design(2025-2), Next Generation Communications(2025-2), Mobility SW/AI Convergence(2025-2)
