2026-1학기 성재장학금 장학생을 선발합니다. 



★신청기간: 5/11(월)



서류는 행정실로 직접 제출하시거나 이메일(dis@korea.ac.kr)로 제출하시기 바랍니다. 

(이메일 제출 시, 메일제목: [성재장학금지원] 학번, 이름 의 형식을 지켜 제출하시고 모든 서류를 하나의 pdf파일로 묶어 제출해 주십시오.)


장학생 선발 기준 및 제출 서류는 다음과 같습니다.


Ⅰ. 선발기준:


1. 글로벌한국융합학부 외국인 신입생 및 외국인 재학생

2. 한국의 역사, 정치경제, 사회, 문화에 대한 향학열이 높은 자

3. 고급 한국어를 구사할 수 있는 자

*지원 시 한국어능력시험(TOPIK) 5급 이상 가산점 부여 

4 직전 성적 평점 3.5 이상, 취득학점이 12학점 이상인 재학생(신입생에게는 적용하지 않음)

5. 장학생 연속 지원 시에는 한국어 능력이 향상된 자 

6. 학부장 또는 지도교수가 추천하는 자


Ⅱ. 제출서류


1. 장학금 신청서 1부

2. 한국어능력 증명서 1부

3. 성적증명서 1부 (재학생만 해당)

4. 국문으로 작성된 자기소개서 (글로벌한국학 관련 활동 내역 필수 포함-한국어 능력 함양, 전공 분야 교내외 리더십 활동 등) 1부

5. 학부장 또는 지도교수 추천서 1부


Ⅲ. 결격 사유


1. 장학금 신청학기에 등록하지 않은 학생 

2. 직전학기 성적평점이 3.5 미만인 학생(신입생에게는 적용하지 않음)

3. 학사징계 전력이 있는 자

4. 직전 학기에 12학점 미만을 취득했거나 9학기 이상 등록한 학생(신입생에게는 적용하지 않음)



We are now accepting applications for the Seongjae Scholarship for the Spring semester of 2026.


★ Application Period: May 11th(MON)


Please submit the required documents directly to the administration office or via email to dis@korea.ac.kr as one combined file.

(If submitting by email, please use the following format for the subject line: [Seongjae Scholarship Application] Student ID, Name) 



I. Eligibility Criteria:


1. New and currently enrolled international students in the Department of Global Korean Studies

2. Academic Interest: Must demonstrate a profound interest in Korea’s history, politics, economy, society, and culture 

3. Advanced Korean language proficiency

*Preference given to those with TOPIK level 5 or higher at the moment of application

4. Academic Standing: Currently enrolled students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and have completed at least 12 credits in the previous semester. (This does not apply to incoming freshmen). 

5. Consecutive Applicants: For those applying for the scholarship consecutively, proof of improved Korean language proficiency is required.

6. Recommendation by the Department Chair or an Academic Advisor is required. 



II. Required Documents:


1. Scholarship Application Form (See the first file which is attached below) 

2. A copy of Korean Language Proficiency Certificate 

3. A copy of Academic Transcript (only for currently enrolled students) 

4. A copy of Personal Statement written in Korean, which must include activities related to Global Korean Studies (e.g., efforts to improve Korean language skills, leadership roles in or outside of campus related to the major etc.)

5. Recommendation Letter by the Department Chair or an academic advisor (See the second file which is attached below) 



III. Disqualification Conditions:


1. Students who are not registered for the semester in which they are applying for the scholarship

2. Students with a GPA below 3.5 in the previous semester (not applicable to freshmen)

3. Students with any academic disciplinary record

4. Students who earned less than 12 credits in the previous semester or are in their 9th semester or beyond (not applicable to freshmen)
