2026년 8월 국제대학, 국제대학원 학위수여식 및 가운 대여를 아래와 같이 안내드립니다.



1. 학위수여식

    1) 일시: 2026년 8월 25일(화) 오전 11시

          - 약 1시간 반 진행 예정(진행 시간은 소폭 조정될 수 있습니다.)

    2) 장소: 국제관 214호

          - 가족 및 지인 현장 참석 가능

          - 내빈 대기실 국제관115호에서 학위수여식 현장 실시간 송출 방송 시청 가능

    3) 참석 대상자: 2026년 8월 국제학부 및 국제대학원 졸업자 중 학위수여식 참석 신청을 사전에 완료한 학생

    


2. 학위기 및 Certificate 수령

    1) 기간: 2026년 8월 25일(화) 오후 2시부터

    2) 수령 장소: 국제관 223호(국제대학원행정실)

    3) 유의사항

          - 학위기는 국문, 영문 각 1장이며 본인 직접 수령이 원칙(우편/택배 발송 등 불가)

          - 수령 방문 시 신분증 또는 여권 지참 필수

          - 대리인 수령 시 위임장 제출 필수

          - 국제대학원 학위수여식 참석자는 학위수여식 현장에서 학위기를 수여 받음

          - Certificate는 학위기 케이스에 동봉될 예정



3. 석사 가운 대여 및 반납

    1) 가운 대여 장소: 국제관 217호

    2) 가운 대여 기간: 2026년 8월 24일(월) - 8월 25일(화) 10:00 - 17:00

          - 12:00-13:00은 점심 시간으로 대여가 불가함

          - 8월 25일은 학위수여식 행사가 진행되므로 되도록 행사 시작 전 대여를 권장함

    3) 석사 가운 반납

          - 반납 기간: 2026년 8월 26일(수) 10:00-16:00

          - 반납 장소: 국제관 217호

          - 가운 반납 시 신분증 또는 여권 지참 필수

    4) 가운 대여/반납 유의사항

          - 대리인의 대여/ 반납 시 대리자는 반드시 위임장을 지참해야 함

          - 박사 학위수여자는 가운 자체 준비해야 함






[August 2026] Commencement Ceremony and Master’s Gown Rental Information


We are pleased to provide the following information regarding the August 2026 Commencement Ceremony and gown rental for the College of International Studies and the Graduate School of International Studies.


1. Commencement Ceremony

     1) Date & Time: Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM

         - The ceremony is expected to last approximately 1.5 hours. (The duration may be subject to slight adjustment.)

     2) Venue: Room 214, International Studies Hall

         - Family members and guests are welcome to attend the ceremony in person.

         - A live broadcast of the ceremony will also be available in Room 115, International Studies Hall (VIP Waiting Room).

     3) Eligible Attendees: Students graduating from the College of International Studies or the Graduate School of International Studies in August 2026 who have completed the advance registration to attend the Commencement Ceremony



2. Diploma and Certificate Pickup

     1) Pickup Period: From 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 25, 2026

     2) Pickup Location: Room 223, International Studies Hall (KU GSIS Administration Office)

     3) Important Notes

         - Each graduate will receive one Korean-language diploma and one English-language diploma. Diplomas must, in principle, be collected in person and cannot be sent by mail, courier, or other delivery services.

         - Graduates must bring their ID card or passport when picking up their diplomas.

         - If a diploma is picked up by a representative on behalf of the graduate, a Letter of Authorization must be submitted.

         - Graduate School of International Studies graduates attending the Commencement Ceremony will receive their diplomas during the ceremony.

         - The Certificate will be enclosed in the diploma case.



3. Master’s Gown Rental and Return

     1) Gown Rental Location: Room 217, International Studies Hall

     2) Gown Rental Period: August 24 (Mon.) – August 25 (Tue.), 2026, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

         - Gown rental will not be available from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM due to the lunch break.

         - As the Commencement Ceremony will be held on August 25, students are strongly encouraged to pick up their gowns before the ceremony begins.

     3) Master’s Gown Return

         - Return Period: Wednesday, August 26, 2026, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

         - Return Location: Room 217, International Studies Hall

         - Students must bring their ID card or passport when returning their gowns.

     4) Important Notes on Gown Rental and Return

         - If a gown is rented or returned by a representative on behalf of the student, the representative must bring a Letter of Authorization.

         - Doctoral degree recipients are required to prepare their own academic regalia.
