1. For Non-Thesis Track Students

   - Students must receive academic advising from their assigned advisor during the 3rd and 4th semesters.

   - Please refer to the attached file and submit the required advising results accordingly.



2. For GKS Scholars (Global Korea Scholarship Students)

   - All GKS scholars are required to submit an academic advising report every semester, regardless of their track.

   - A separate advising form must be used.

   - 1st and 2nd semester students, please contact Professor Kim Dong-jung (Associate Dean of the GSIS).

   - 3rd and 4th semester students (including completed students), please reach out to your assigned academic advisor.

▷ Yes. Non-thesis track students are required to receive academic advising (국제대학원 시행세칙 제15조 2항).




Q2. What should I write in the advising form?


▷ Briefly record topics discussed with your advisor, including your course completion plan, career path, courses to be taken, and graduation preparation.




Q3. Can the advising session be done online?


▷ Yes. Both in-person and online advising are possible. Please consult with your advisor to determine the method.




Q4. Why do GKS students use a different form?


▷ GKS students follow a separate procedure and must use the special advising form designated for scholarship students.
